Lahore Qalandars performance in PSL 2016 was dissapointing one and it breaks the hearts o fpeople of Lahore. Plenty of humors there at Social Media where people were disowning Lahore Qalandars in a funny way. As the team fails to make a strong combination in edition 1 there were many Question Mark on Selection of players of Lahore Qalandar.

But it was just past now it is being great efforts by management of Lahore Qalandar and they also took Initiayive of Talent hunt in all over the Punjab with the help of Jazz and it was named as Jazz Rising Stars. Lahore Qalandars is first team that took imitative of Talent hunt.

Lets take a look at there drafted players as per now:

Brendon McCullam is Captain and Chris Gayle is no more there Azhar Ali would be as team player.

Big Gun Umar Akmal retained as he was highest run scorer of PSL edition 1.

This team include new faces that were selected from Jazz Rising Stars.

Quetta Gladiators is based on Capital Of Baluchistan. It is owned by Omer Associates (It is running a club in Cricket of Pakistan From Years). It is currently captained by Sarfraz Ahmed and Coached by Moin Khan ( Former Cricketer and Wicket Keeper).

2016Th Session

It secured Consective Win against Islamabad United, Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi (It was Closely fought match though but Quetta won it at last). But lost momentum against Lahore Qalandars.

It was First team to Qualify for play-offs. It stand 2nd at points table below Peshawar Zalmi.

In first Qualifier it won against Peshawar Zalmi by just 1 run secured its position for Final.

But it lost to Islambad United in Final and it was certainly a poor end to the tournament.

2017th Session

Quetta Retained 10 players as we are going to 2017th edition. It also signed 8 players in draft and released Kumar Sangakkara.

It is expected that as of there last session it will Perform well in this session.

Melody Tune Of HBL PSL By Ali Zafar Latest

HBLPSL 2nd session prepartion are going on and again Ali Zafar will produce melody tune for HBLPSL.

Peshawar Zalmi is franchise of Pakistan Super League. It is Owned By CEO of Haier Pakistan and close relative of Shahid Khan Afridi, Javed Afridi . Zeeshan Afzal is CEO of Team.

Darren Sammy is Captain of Peshawar Zalmi and Muhammad Akram is Head Coach by recent development tell now.

"Zalmi" is Pushtu language word which means "Youth". So Peshawar Zalmi means Peshawar Youth.

2016th Edition

Peshawar Zalmi was all set fire on the beginning of PSL Edition 2016. It won 6 out 8 Matches in group stages. It finished first on points table. Two Consective defeat aginst Quetta and Islamabad United in qualifier finished there Tournament. 

There was a lot of support of PZ in Dubai crowd was coming in huge amount to watch Shahid Khan Afridi. At many occasion full sold out of ticket was observed.

2017th Edition

As of now Peshawar Zalmi retained 10 players and signed 8 new players for 2017th edition of Pakistan Super League.
Now Darren Sammy will be captain of Peshawar Zalmi. Shahid Afridi will also playing.
Lot of hopes for Zalmi fans in this edition also.

Lahore Qalandars :-

Lahore Qalandar franchise Represent famous and historical city of Lahore. It is owned by Qatar Oil and Lubricant Company i.e QALCO. It is now under the Captaincy Of Brendon McCullam after tremendous loss in Pakistan Super league 2016th Edition. It was Captained by Azhar Ali earlier, the current Captain of ODI Team of Pakistan. It is Coached by Paddy Upton (South African Cricketer).

2016th Edition

It was very bad start into first session of Pakistan Super League though it was considered among favorites.It win just two matches in group stage against Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiator.

A lose against Zalmi put end to there campaign in PSL. Umer Akmal was highest run scorer and team also won "Spirit of Game Award".

2017th Edition

Now as captain changed major shifting of player makes Lahore Qalandar into a chance of winning its dream. Lahore Qalandars squad for PSL 2017 Edition shows there strong and weak points clearly.

 The recent development of Talent hunt intiative was praised by rivals too I might say Karachi also took there idea of Talent hunt.

So hope that after bitter first session experience Lahore would fight for its Survival.

Islamabad United:-

Islamabad United is Professional t20 premier league that competes in Pakistan Super League. It represent Capital of Pakistan i.e Islamabad. The franchise is owned by Leonine Global Investments through its sports entity by Ali Naqvi and Amna Naqvi.

In PSL second Edition Islamabad United Retained 17 players and chosen Ben Duckket, Zohaib Khan and Shadab Khan.
